Hello Reader, It sneaks up on us every year: one week you’re still in summer mode, the next the mornings feel crisp, the trails are covered in leaves, and autumn has made itself at home. (At least here in Germany …no need to rub it in with your summer shots from down under 😉) Not that we mind: golden light, tacky dirt, and a good reason to pull out the warmer riding gear all have their charm. And if the weather really doesn’t play along, in this newsletter there’s plenty to keep the stoke alive: a celebration of the Madonna with the Fox Podium build, Kilian Buhl sending the Pleney main line in Morzine, and Jack Reading taking on the chaos of the Megavalanche. Madonna V3 Fox Podium Build: Sometimes a bike isn’t just a tool. With the Madonna V3 Fox Podium build, we let go of pragmatism for a moment and built something simply because it makes us smile. The result is a small batch of Madonnas that combine pure performance with pure admiration – captured on film in an old factory, through a lens that usually tells the story of classic Porsche engines. Take a look at the Madonna V3 Podium build – our way of celebrating what mountain bikes can be. A Build Without Rules: Stevie Schneider’s Wild Madonna V3What happens when you give someone like Stevie full creative freedom to build the bike of his dreams? Spoiler: things get wild. In this blog post, Stevie takes you along as he transforms his Madonna V3 into a radical hybrid - somewhere between Big Air machine, backyard whip toy, and a whole lot of madness. Ice, Chaos, and Crushed Lungs: Jack’s Megavalanche 2025From 3330 meters on the Pic Blanc glacier, the Megavalanche drops riders straight into pure madness. Jack Reading lined up on the front row - no endurance training, just skill, grit, and a Madonna V3 built for chaos. Snow, rock, carnage, and a fight for every meter. Jack came within two meters of the Top 10. Read the full story - and watch the full POV run here. Hello Reader, The yearly cycle at RAAW usually follows a familiar rhythm. Things get busy early in the season with product launches, test events, sales, and customer support, typically peaking in June or July. Our team of nine is all hands on deck, and at times it can get pretty hectic. As good as that is – and as grateful as I am for things going well and so much happening in the world of RAAW – I sometimes look forward to the end of the year. By November, things start to slow down a little....
Hello Reader, On a quiet solo ride the other day, the air was crisp, the trails were covered in leaves, and the woods had that calm, golden glow that only autumn brings. Conditions like that sometimes put me in a reflective mood – the kind where flow mixes with emotion, sneaking in between the corners and the climbs. I found myself thinking about the Madonna – the bike I was on – and the role it has played in our story, and in so many of yours. From the very beginning, it’s been the bike at...
